Project description

The megastructure extends east-west and related inter-city car routes, exchange passengers and luggage onto electric city car routes, by way of the interchange, mixed use infill is basic to the megastructured area, by tributaries are sent off from it mainly infilled with housing.

Electric cars are able to reach all family dwellings; they can be the furniture that is able to travel.

The Plug-In City project is now being extended to investigate the interrelationship of :

- existing decaying built-up areas (particularly ‘twilight zones’) and the phased re-energy of city mixturing;

- sustenance by transport to any point (by war of 4’x6’ cars, able to be controlled and programmed in certain conditions);

- problems of changing work/play patterns probably resulting in very much less ‘zoning’ of one activity against another than is traditionally one of the bases of any attempt to make determinate ‘types’ of infill.
